HKCIEA organized a delegation to Xiamen attending the China International Fair for Investment and Trade 2019 & The Belt and Road Investment Congress on 7 September to 8 September, 2019. The 15-member delegation is led by Mr Kenneth Lee, Vice-Chairman of The Mainland and Taiwan Affairs Department. Other delegates included directors, Mr Desmond Cheung, Mr Edward Ng, Ms Anny Li, Ms Winnie Cheng and other members.

 

Our honorary advisor, Ms Kwok Ying Lan welcomed the delegation personally. Executive Director, Mr Yang Yirong arranged a site visit to EcoGreen factory which located in Haicang district to understand the latest development of the industry and hosted a banquet.

 

The delegation visited the China International Fair on 8 September, exploring the latest investment policies and investment information. The delegation attended the welcoming luncheon from the United Front Work Department, meeting Deputy Secretary of Xiamen Municipal Committee, Mr Chen Qiuxiong, Standing Deputy Head of United Front Work Department, Ms. He Xiushen and other delegations. We visited the software park inside the Xiamen High-Tech industrial Park and understood the outcome and potential of high-tech digital industries.
