Delegation led by Xing Shanping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee, visited HKCIEA
On 27th September, 2019, a delegation of six people led by Xing Shanping, Member of the Standing Committee of the Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, visited HKCIEA. During the meeting, we exchanged views on the trading of both Hong Kong and Mainland and the current social situation.
Minister Xing spoke about the development of entrepot trade and offshore trading and the prospects of Hong Kong trading. She mentioned that as the Greater Bay Area development strategic planning has accorded the country’s strategic planning, Hong Kong would definitely integrate with Mainland more closely and foresee opportunities brought by the Fujian-Hong Kong cooperation. She commended HKCIEA that has been uniting the import and export industry in Hong Kong, loving our motherland and Hong Kong, bridging between both Mainland and Hong Kong, strengthening the bilateral communication, fully support the policies by the SAR government and maintaining social harmony.
Mr Lam Lung On, President of HKCIEA introduced the recent work done by the association and the situation of Hong Kong’s import and export industry. He expected the meeting would deepen the exchanges in economic trading between Hong Kong and Mainland.
